Into The Lily Pond

This other part of the lily pond does not get the attention of the water lilies or the the dancing sunlight. However, this world below is equally beautiful and it is this blue world that enables the lily pads to reach for the sun. Cheryl Willcox is a life long painter and art teacher. Her passion for natural beauty is seen her works as she creates paintings of her immediate and sometimes rare environments using bright colour and expressive brushwork. Frequent visits to National parks and other havens of nature are regularly enjoyed through long distant cycling holidays, photography safaris and daily walks.

Living in the truest sense is where NATURE demands your mind and all your senses to place you in the world where you are just a small part of a much bigger force.

Cheryl's hope is that this painting will bring a sense of joy to the room where it lives, and that is makes the people who enter the room feel as though a part of nature is right there with them.
