Early morning amongst the water lilies provides a peaceful interplay of some of my favourite subjects - water, light and life. They all combine to sustain the silent beauty of pond life above and below the lilies. The light of the sun is essential but what it creates is the majesty of life that on any given morning is there for all to appreciate. This makes loving where I live and being compelled to paint what I love such a daily inspiration on our morning walks.
