Original Artwork by Chloe Papastavrou
The layers and textures of the kanamaluka Tamar Valley, soft green and blue hues and accented with bright textures and wistful breezes. . Acrylic on canvas board 3mm canvas board Requires framing
Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based. . I work in both Acrylic on canvas or wood panel and Gouache on paper.
