The Bushland around Deviot along the kanamaluka river (Tamar) is where I grew up. This beautiful place is full of lomandra and gum trees, beautiful stones and animals. The tones and textures here are muted but infinite. This work examines the textures, stories & pneuma of the Tasmanian landscape. I am fascinated by this place and the stories it holds. The more time spent here the landscape reveals itself beyond the aesthetic. . ~ Painted on 100% cotton archival paper ~ Framed in float mount style ~ Natural Tasmanian oak exterior frame ~ Ready to hang ~ Anti-reflective art glass
