Kunanyi Mt Wellington in southern Tasmania is a truly unique landscape. As a place of a vast perspective it is easy to focus on the expanse, yet what is just as captivating are the micro landscapes. The structures, lines and details in the plants and rocks are equally vast. The many colours and textures intertwine and reflect this wild landscape. This work aims to evoke the place while also sharing the feeling of being on the mountain.
