Low Head Tidal Pools

As the tide recedes it leaves pools of shallow water that reflect the sky like a mirror. The earthy tones and cool water are comforting and mesmerising. This work explores a multitude of vantage points from the vast horizon to the small stones at the waters edge.

Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based.
