Lutruwita Supply River

This work explores the vast and beautiful scenes along the Supply River. This perennial river in northern Lutruwita (Tasmania) is home to so many native plant and animal species. The tones and textures feel infinite. This painting explores the various forms and details along the rivers edge.

Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based.
