The kanamaluka Tamar River has pockets of melaleuca paper bark trees all the way along the water course. Beneath these trees lomandra grass grows in abundance. This place has a quiet beauty to it that encourages a quiet contemplation

Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based.
