Paperbeach Tamar Valley

Paperbeach in lutruwita (Tasmania) sits along the Kanamaluka Tamar River, as the water recedes the tide lines become visible and then disappear as the sun warms the sand. This work explores the textures and beauty of this landscape.

Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based.
