This work examines the textures, stories & pneuma of the Tasmanian landscape. I am fascinated by this place and the stories it holds. The more time spent here the landscape reveals itself beyond the aesthetic.
As you make your way through the meandering roads in central Tasmania, the dense ferns open up to a windswept plateau. The hardy native shrubs, remnants of trees and vast grassland lead to the entrance of the Cradle Mountain national park. This beautiful landscape changes in tone and texture through the year. This work follows a cold day in the depths of winter.
