Supply River

Sometimes the water at the Supply River falls rushes down of the rocks at a rapid pace and sometimes it drifts down consistently. Swirling white water at the basin rises and falls against the perpetual rocks bobbing at its edge. Patterns and lines emerge and dissipate into the pool below. The sound is meditative and shuts out thoughts allowing this place to draw you in

Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based.
