Up the back of Supply River

This work is a study of the beautiful landscape from the rivulet of Supply River that leads into the kanamaluka Tamar River. The land is wild and dense beyond the falls. Fresh water cascades and trickles at various points along the stream. Dense lomandra, gum trees and dogwood plants curtain the tracks.

Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based.
