Walking Paperbeach

Paperbeach is a small riverside suburb along the kanamaluka river. A place with a few small residents amongst a beautifully quiet wilderness. As you walk the tracks you are surrounded by paperbark trees that open up so a sandy beach looking out to the river.

Chloe is an emerging artist making abstract works inspired by the Tasmanian landscape. Her work is motivated by and reflects both the vastness and intimacy of place. Growing up along Kanamaluka/Tamer River has provided an endless source for artistic exploration. While the landscapes of my childhood occur frequently I am also drawn to various landscapes across Lutruwita including the southern coastline and the majestic beauty of Kunanyi Mt. Wellington above Nipaluna Hobart where I am currently based.
