Artwork Description

Three Dimensional Original artwork designed for the finest of interior design.

Inspired by the Australian Great Dividing Range, this original Acrylic captures the amazing colour transition of the mountain range from dusk till dawn. Colour is applied onto a perspex sheet on the inside of the sheet to protect the artwork, while the background and 3d effect is created by a matt border and sheet of 300gsm paper with an Acrylic mountain backdrop. This is all presented in a box frame creating a visual effect that is quite striking making this a real show piece in any interior design application.

Artist Bio

Chris Cox is an abstract and contemporary artist based in the Southern Tablelands of NSW just north of Canberra. His passion for creativity flourished early and grew from an admirable hobby to a full-time career as an artist.

Although his works exhibit complexity and strategic brushwork, much of his value lies in the arms of simplicity. Chris' core focus is to ' capture moments ', most commonly the simpler, everyday moments that are often overlooked. Chris' ongoing interest with interior design has encouraged the diverse and suitable nature of his works, both enhancing the finer spaces with delicate sized paintings to larger areas with bold canvas works designed to reflect his core motives.
