Entry Point

People gather, watch, wait, and ponder the coming and going of sea faring vessels. Somewhere on or about the pier a lone fisherman throws a line enjoying the sounds of the sea. I’ve always been fascinated by the ocean its vessels, shorelines, deep sea activities and love the associated changing atmospheres.
Entry Point is another of my “Humanity and the Sea” ongoing series.

BIO
Chris is a full time mixed media artist, with a BA Fine Arts (Painting) and has been exhibiting widely in solo, selected and group shows since 1985. Chris has won several awards, the most recent being -2023 WINNER Linden Postcard Show, The Nina Taylor Birthday Card Award and previously: 2017 RUNNER UP ANL Maritime Art Award 2016 WINNER (Dreamscape) Drawing Category Daylesford Art Show, Vic -Judge Victor Rubin, renowned Australian artist. 2015 WINNER (Life Series Vignettes 2014 "FAMILY") Lost In Sculpture, Indoor Award, Dunkeld, Vic - Judge Kirsten Paisley, Deputy Director, NGV Her 2016 solo "CONNECTIONS IN UNKNOWN SPACES" received widespread acclaim.
