Artwork Description

I work subconsciously and let the work take me where it will. Relic # 2 is an example of exploring ideas while enjoying the process of simply drawing and exploring my fascination with people and rocks and wherever the work takes me.
Is this now, or was that then?
Time changes everything; weathered and treasured our ruins and relics create these enigmatic spaces.

BIO
Chris is a full time mixed media artist, with a BA Fine Arts (Painting) and has been exhibiting widely in solo, selected and group shows since 1985. Chris has won several awards, the most recent being -2023 WINNER Linden Postcard Show, The Nina Taylor Birthday Card Award and previously: 2017 RUNNER UP ANL Maritime Art Award 2016 WINNER (Dreamscape) Drawing Category Daylesford Art Show, Vic -Judge Victor Rubin, renowned Australian artist. 2015 WINNER (Life Series Vignettes 2014 "FAMILY") Lost In Sculpture, Indoor Award, Dunkeld, Vic - Judge Kirsten Paisley, Deputy Director, NGV Her 2016 solo "CONNECTIONS IN UNKNOWN SPACES" received widespread acclaim.
