Artwork Description

This striking painting ona crisp white background captures a moment in nature where delicate blossoms emerge from gnarly branches creating a juxtaposition of textures and herald a new Season.
The painting was created in professional grade alcohol inks with metallic ink highlights.
The surface is made of thread woven from 100% recycled post-consumer PET bottles. My small part to help save the planet. The canvas is affixed to a sturdy birch wood panel with gallery d-rings and wire at the rear. The sides of the painting are the natural timber. It will be delivered with my Artist Certificate of Authenticity

Christine Hyde is a Bluethumb Gallery Featured Artist. You can see the current portfolio of her art by tapping her photo.

This painting is UV protected and varnished to help preserve the inks. This should not be hung in a place where direct sunlight casts its rays across the surface, or under flouroscent lighting, as over time the inks may fade. It is perfectly OK to hang in a normal well-lit room as long as it isn’t exposed to direct rays of sunlight.

“While I have done many things in life so far, studying, working and travelling extensively, I truly think I was born to paint! I get great joy from creating and more so when my art is appreciated and sought by viewers and collectors. I am so fortunate to live and create in the World Heritage Listed Area of The Blue Mountains, and take most of my inspirations from its natural environs and my own sprawling Studio gardens,

I enjoy being an active member of the vibrant Blue Mountains arts community. I volunteer at my local art gallery and enjoy giving back to the arts community in that way. I have run art classes for 10 years and have been requested by art societies to provide workshops, demonstrations and to judge their exhibitions. I have also curated a number of Public Gallery and Art Society Exhibitions.
