Artwork Description

Blue is the colour of intuition, inspiration and inner peace. This hand-painted artwork is inspired by the Blue Mountains Region of Australia where this Artist lives and creates and in this creation she dwells upon its serenity and contentment, which drew her to this region some twenty years ago.

This colourful one-of-a-kind contemporary painting has a lux finish. The painting which suggests bursts of flowers, was created using various techniques combined to ensure flow and merging of colours, to create interesting patterns and interactions of emerging tones. This creates an added dimension which can’t be replicated. A gorgeous variety of pigments were used including metallics , copper, turquoise, blues, yellow and soft greens. Soft brush strokes flow down through the painting in a glazed, abstract impressionist style.
The metallic gold notes reflect the shifting light beautifully really bringing the painting to life. The painting is painted with blackened edges all round for a smart modern finish.

This artwork is created in intense professional grade alcohol inks, enhanced with copper metallics, hand-painted onto premium grade art canvas. The painting has received several layers of protective UV varnishes.

It has an inner timber frame, the canvas is stretched and gallery-wrapped. It has d-rings and wire at the rear and is ready to hang.

This stunning painting has a been signed discretely on the front. It will be also delivered with the Artist's Certificate of Authenticity.

“While I have done many things in life so far, studying, working and travelling extensively, I truly think I was born to paint! I get great joy from creating and more so when my art is appreciated and sought by viewers and collectors. I am so fortunate to live and create in the World Heritage Listed Area of The Blue Mountains, and take most of my inspirations from its natural environs and my own sprawling Studio gardens,

I enjoy being an active member of the vibrant Blue Mountains arts community. I volunteer at my local art gallery and enjoy giving back to the arts community in that way. I have run art classes for 10 years and have been requested by art societies to provide workshops, demonstrations and to judge their exhibitions. I have also curated a number of Public Gallery and Art Society Exhibitions.
