This painting represents all that is wonderful about the Australian Bush that I see on my walks in the Blue Mountains where I live and paint. The new seasonal growth on the gums and banksias, the never-ending mountain waterfalls and lush undergrowths. All of this is captured in the essence of this painting. The pristine rainforests in the Blue Mountains hold a special interest. They are typically found in locations that are reliably moist, have moderate to high levels of soil nutrients, and are sheltered from frequent fire. They are characterized by a closed canopy of soft-leaved trees and a moist understory with ferns and other shade-tolerant plants.
Enter this Rainforest and you may come across Tiger quolls, yellow-bellied gliders, koalas and even dingos; plus, on the flora side, banksias, wattles and waratahs.

HANGING THIS ARTWORK
A unique, eye-catching extra large abstract painting in alcohol inks painted onto a quality gloss composite art panel ready to hang. The American Ash timber frame creates a product of similar weight to a framed mirror, around 5.5kg, and a secure attachment is recommended for hanging. A gallery-style simple hanging system would be perfect or a wall mount for the correct weight.
