Artwork Description

This textured painting suggests the ebb and flow of the ocean currents and capturing exotic marine life along the journey. Metallic paints highlight the sun reflecting and glistening through the water. An energetic artwork painted in the abstract genre.

Before my tree-change to the Blue Mountains, I always lived in walking distance to the sea and ocean, in Papua New Guinea and the East Coast of Australia. The sea is in my soul.
This contemporary, textured, and colourful artwork is hand-painted onto professional grade stretched canvas in acrylic and metallic paints and has received layers of protective varnish. It will be delivered from my studio ready to hang on your wall. The colours in this hand-painted artwork are pthalo green, turquoise, cobalt blue, pthalo blue-green and finished with ink glazing and metallic gold and copper notes.
It has been painted black around all sides for a smart finish.
It will be delivered with my Artist Certificate of Authenticity.

“While I have done many things in life so far, studying, working and travelling extensively, I truly think I was born to paint! I get great joy from creating and more so when my art is appreciated and sought by viewers and collectors. I am so fortunate to live and create in the World Heritage Listed Area of The Blue Mountains, and take most of my inspirations from its natural environs and my own sprawling Studio gardens,

I enjoy being an active member of the vibrant Blue Mountains arts community. I volunteer at my local art gallery and enjoy giving back to the arts community in that way. I have run art classes for 10 years and have been requested by art societies to provide workshops, demonstrations and to judge their exhibitions. I have also curated a number of Public Gallery and Art Society Exhibitions.
