Shimmering Portals of Light is inspired by the first morning light shifting through the forest foliage. It is a hand-painted small statement piece to brighten any room. This colourful one-of-a-kind contemporary painting has a lux finish in turquoise, blue, copper and gold. The painting was created using various techniques combined to allow increased flow, interaction and separation of colours to create interesting patterns where pops of colour can be seen emerging from underneath. A gorgeous variety of acrylic pigments were used including metallic gold, copper, turquoise, petal green, indigo, burnt sienna, light blue, midnight blue, black and apple green. Soft brush strokes of subtle copper metallic paint flow down through the painting in a glazed, impressionist style.
