Gold & Bold – The Willie Wagtail

This confident little bird, the Willie Wagtail stands strong in the face of any bird who dares to come near his nest! Surrounded metallic gold background that shines in the light. The surface is a lovely textured paper – Arches 300gsm Watercolour paper, in natural white 100% cotton.

The work has been mounted to a 3cm deep cradle board, sealed with cold wax, and ready to hang with d-rings and wire. The wax protects the watercolour from the elements so it does not need to be behind glass. For upkeep, it simply needs to be wiped over with a lint-free cloth. The edges are black and act as a frame, but it can also be framed with a box frame if you so choose.

It is signed on the front and back, accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

*Note, gold is hard to photograph in different lighting as it is reflective. The first main photo and closeup are most accurate for colour.
