Hanging out – Zebra finches, Botanical Frangipani Garden

Zebra finches are one of my favourite tiny little birds – especially when found squashed up together on a branch creating a fluff of feathers! These two are depicted enjoying a moment in a Frangipani tree.

The painted surface is a lovely textured card – Arches 300gsm Watercolour paper, in natural white 100% cotton, painted in professional Winsor & Newton watercolours for a richness in colour.

The piece is framed in a lovely raw oak behind glass, with a natural white mat board, ready to hang.
It is signed on the front and a signed certificate of authenticity is included with the work.

I've always enjoyed incorporating art into my everyday, whether it be through my work as a designer or by painting in spare time. My art reflects my love of birdlife, passion for patterns and background in graphic design. Experiments over the years have drawn me to watercolour as my medium of choice.
