Pardalotes Poised

These tiny little birds will light up any room – the Spotted Pardalote, seen here resting on frangipani leaves (before heading to their favourite Eucalypts!).

The surface is a lovely textured card – Arches 300gsm Watercolour paper, in natural white 100% cotton, painted in professional Winsor & Newton watercolours for a richness in colour.

The piece is framed in a lovely raw oak behind glass, with white mat board with black core. It is ready to hang from D-ring and string. It is signed on the front and a signed certificate of authenticity is included with the work.

I've always enjoyed incorporating art into my everyday, whether it be through my work as a designer or by painting in spare time. My art reflects my love of birdlife, passion for patterns and background in graphic design. Experiments over the years have drawn me to watercolour as my medium of choice. I find its ability to layer colours and shapes can truly bring a bird portrait to life. My work features in homes and businesses around Australia, as well as internationally.
