The little Willie Wagtail loves a good branch and the Magnolia is a great spot to perch. He is surrounded by a metallic gold background that shines in the light. The surface is a lovely textured paper – Arches 300gsm Watercolour paper, in natural white 100% cotton.
The work has been mounted to a 3cm deep cradle board, sealed with cold wax, and ready to hang with d-rings and wire. The wax protects the watercolour from the elements so it does not need to be behind glass. For upkeep, it simply needs to be wiped over with a lint-free cloth. The edges are black and act as a frame, but it can also be framed with a box frame if you so choose.
It is signed on the front and back, accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
*Note, gold is hard to photograph in different lighting. The first main photo and closeups are most accurate for colour.
