Abstract - Coastal Skies Pebbles textured painting

This paintings colour selection was inspired by coastal blue skies and introducing copper plus golds and metallic silver creating some warmth to a cooler painting! This painting was inspired by wanting to paint something tranquil and calm as now being in a world pandemic we are surrounded by so much negative news and worry. I also wanted to paint something that was therapeutic for myself as a lot of my usual art subjects require a bit of math and measurement. This was a free flowing painting, finding my zen. It reflects pebbles in water which again is very calm and soothing. This versions background has a light texture. A mix of sky blues, deep blue, turquoise, soft pink, white, gold, copper and silver. The close up images show the colours well.

They also publish Grand Designs Australia . 2025 The Adelaide Airport's New Premium Plaza Lounge purchased two of Miranda's Australiana themed artworks as part of their interiors.
