SALE SPECIAL - This is my first Pampas Grass painting. Its an abstract take of the grass. Ive been wanting to paint them for a while as I see them all the time on my walks and just love their form and how they sway in the wind. Ive positioned them almost like a pattern. The heads of the grass is textured white with a wash of gold, the stems are white and the background is also textured. If you view the close ups of the painting I photographed these inside directly under warm lights to show the gloss as other photos I took outside in natural light that doesn't show up the gloss (thats why colours appear a bit different as under different lighting. This also has a coastal vibe to it too or a starry night sky look. Metallic golds capture well in the light. Would also suit hanging with my signature Tree painting - Beach Horizon. Finished with a gloss varnish. Painting looks much better in real life as hard to pick up the gloss finish and textures in these photos.
