Original Artwork's Description

This Beach Reeds painting I have really ramped up the textures in this one. LOVE textures this one delivers. Bring the forever holiday beach vibes into your home with my textural beach abstracts. This is another version of my Beach Reeds using a golden beige and ochre for the reeds and greeny blues to turquoise for the water with a sky blue sky. I have signed the side as too textured to sign the front. These are my favourite colours for my own home. Even though I live in the hills I love to create a beach house feel inside as we love spending our holidays at the beach. Also originally Inspired by my weekend at my friends beach house at Carrickalinga, Fleurieu Peninsula SA. We walked on the beach and I said to them I see a painting so when I returned home I created an abstract take on what I saw. Ready to hang painted around the edges.

Award-winning artist Miranda Lloyd expresses a deep connection to her natural surroundings. Living in the foothills, her enthusiasm for painting is inspired by her own backyard and a desire to bring the “outside, inside,” while complementing her modern lifestyle. Her paintings exaggerate nature’s lines, shapes, and colours, resulting in a modern blend of abstract impressionism and contemporary style.
