This is another version of this style which I have used more greeny blues and a coral orange to represent sunset island sands. Inspired by living in the Whitsundays when I was 19. I have been reflecting back to my days when I traveled all the Islands and scuba dived the amazing coral reefs. During our winter months in South Australia I do get an urge to be back in the tropics. This is a super textural painting creating movement in the water and the look and feel of sand. The sand is of a sunset orange with white wash to soften the look and show the sands texture. Colours are tranquil and fresh yet bright. Finished in a gloss varnish. This painting has been wired to hang either landscape or portrait. Painted around the edges.
