Blue Wrens - Fairy Wrens Textured Impasto Abstract

Inspired by my love of nature and recently launching a ART/WINE label series with God's Hill Wines Barossa Valley. Living in the foothills we are so lucky to get these Blue Wrens (Fairy Wrens) dancing in our backyard. They are a real joy to watch and put a smile on any ones face. I have done a series of blue wrens a few years ago and was inspired to paint these guys again as just released an ART / WINE Australian Bird Series with God's Hill Wines Barossa Valley, they published 6 of my Australian birds on their 2022 Shiraz Label, they are still available through www.godshillwines.com. This painting is heavily textured both background and the bird. Ive used metallic golds for a abstract contemporary look and feel. These guys are very much loved around Australia. This painting is very hard to photograph all the details and looks much better in real life.

They also publish Grand Designs Australia . 2025 The Adelaide Airport's New Premium Plaza Lounge purchased two of Miranda's Australiana themed artworks as part of their interiors.
