As a special commission, the waves were made super textured, with the surf carefully enhanced through three layered applications to maximise the dynamic effect. The beach itself is richly textured, depicting people enjoying both the surf and the sunshine, reflecting a genuine connection to nature. Award-winning artist Miranda Lloyd expresses a deep connection to her natural surroundings. Living in the foothills, her enthusiasm for painting is inspired by her own backyard and a desire to bring the “outside, inside,” while complementing her modern lifestyle. Her art and profile has been used by an American University ( The Art Of Education University) with 9 other international nature artists as a resource for their program. Miranda’s work and bio will also be featured in Australia’s Home Design magazine with 11 other artists. They also publish Grand Designs Australia . 2025 The Adelaide Airport's New Premium Plaza Lounge purchased two of Miranda's Australiana themed artworks as part of their interiors.
