Artwork Description

An abstract interpretation of the Cliva Flowers, inspired by my own garden. We have an abundance of Clivias in our garden and this spring our garden is radiating in colour. I love the contrast of the deep greens and oranges of the clivias. It also gives that Tropical holiday vibe too. Though I live in the Hills I dress my home coastal - tropical giving that country meets coastal feel. This painting I have ramped up the textures and saturated colours to really make a statement piece. The backgraound also has a light texture of coastal blues. These would look great along side my Orange Tree painting. Painting is hard to capture in a photo looks much better in real life.
