Artwork Description

This is a very large version of flowers for mum. 153cm x 76cm custom order. Flowers for Mum textural abstract painting was inspired by the flowers that my mum and I bought together. They were brilliant blues and lasted for weeks. I couldn't help but paint them. Heavy textures in both the background and the petals thats pop 3D like. I decided to do white stems to keep it modern - contemporary. Background is a blend of greeny blues with vibrant blue contrasting flowers. Flecks of silver and gold paint and silver foils pick up nicely in the light.
