These Outback inspired pebbles series are inspired by my travels through the centre of Australia and lived in Darwin for 6 years, these colours are close to my heart. This painting reflects my outback Australian travels reflecting the burnt orange soil and splashes of wild flowers. Also they remind me of opals which I also traveled through Coober Pedy. Hues include burnt orange, yellow , deep red, white, black, sky blue, deep blue, turquoise, salmon pink, green and metallic gold. Ive used a light texture for the background. Finished with a satin varnish. Check out the close ups for colour details. Would look great also on a feature wall.
