Tree - Australian Gum by Night Textured Abstract

This is my first gum tree of this style. Inspired by the old gums where I run my dog and living in the Adelaide Hills, I used my own photos for this inspo. Using my signature thick textures and using my favourite coastal hues with the contrasting night sky with a slight influence of impressionism. Background has a light texture and the gum has heavy textures. View the close ups to see the textures. A mix of blacks, silvers, golds, whites, turquoise, greeny blue and sky blue is used with a gloss varnish. My textural paintings always look better in real life as hard to capture their true textures in a photo.

They also publish Grand Designs Australia . 2025 The Adelaide Airport's New Premium Plaza Lounge purchased two of Miranda's Australiana themed artworks as part of their interiors.
