Artwork Description

SPECIAL SALE. This is another version of my trees using my new background which gives that rainy water effect. Inspired by my own garden and my QLD travels as I love to create that holiday Bali vibe in my own garden and in my home. I love using metallic golds with electric blues , they are so striking together. A mix of turquoise, blues, deep blues, greeny blues, greens, metallic golds, pinks and white. Trees are textured with metallic golds with a white wash and they pop from the canvas. Ive introduced a blue shadow around the trees to make them really pop off the canvas to add depth. These photos don't show the real textures on the trees and look much better in real life. Painted around the edges ready to hang. I am really loving the colours in this one.

Artist Bio

Award-winning artist Miranda Lloyd expresses a deep connection to her natural surroundings. Living in the foothills, her enthusiasm for painting is inspired by her own backyard and a desire to bring the “outside, inside,” while complementing her modern lifestyle. A passionate surfer, Miranda often reflects the ocean in her work. Her paintings exaggerate nature’s lines, shapes, and colours, resulting in a modern blend of abstract impressionism and contemporary style. Miranda won a finalist award in the Brand South Australia Regional Business Awards 2014. 2017 Miranda was selected by the Director of Arts and Health to exhibit 28 of her large paintings in the New Royal Adelaide Hospital. A 2.3 billion dollar build. 2018 Miranda's artworks were published in a hardcover Australian Art Book along with 54 other iconic Australian country artists.
