Trees Outback Australia Ghost Gums Diptych textured impasto commission

This was a commission for a client wanting the trees over two canvases - Diptych. Also to hang on a charcoal feature wall which makes the painting even more striking. These stunning Ghost Gums was inspired by my travels across the heart of Australia. From ages 19 to 25, I explored most of the country by camper van, even climbing the iconic Uluru. This artwork captures the essence of those journeys; the burnt earthy orange landscape reflects the vast outback terrain, while the blue splatters symbolize the infrequent yet rejuvenating rain and water runoffs. The background has a very rustic earthy feel of burnt oranges, reds, browns, blacks, yellows, metallic golds and beige. The trees are also textured very textured. Painted around the edges ready to hang.

They also publish Grand Designs Australia . 2025 The Adelaide Airport's New Premium Plaza Lounge purchased two of Miranda's Australiana themed artworks as part of their interiors.
