Set It Free (Diptych): Abstract Painting on 2 Canvases

This original painting was a continuation of my recent experiment in using different techniques to apply the paint. The work was created using Sponges, rags, spray paint, rollers, pens and scrapers, then finished off with brushes.

The work is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces. The work is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

This Diptych artwork has a textured finish created by built up layers, a visual effect mimicking the look you would see in the street where this effect is created over time on Graffiti Walls & Advertising Spaces, Insitu examples are not to scale.

The work comes on 2 quality stretched canvases and is ready to hang. The black undercoat has been wrapped around the sides of the work to finish off the edges neatly and therefore doesn’t require framing.

ColdGhostArt has been commissioned to produce art in commercial & public spaces both in Sydney and on The Central Coast and has painted many murals in Restaurants, Bars, Retail Spaces & Galleries.

As well as works being sold in London, ColdGhost is also sold in Australia through online galleries and various Retail Outlets.
