Painting on recycled materials in Vintage Frame

This original Artwork is a continuation of my current series, playfully exploring the merging of Man & Machine. Childhood fantasies of future technology from last century, Astro Boy Cartoons & Robot Comics, collide with the hi-tech reality of this Century in a juxtaposition of colour and style.

The painting is a mixed media work created with paint onto recycled board, the vintage frame is left in its original state, so has some wear and scuff marks and flaked paint finish due to age.

Creating art on Recycled Paper, but also on other found objects including Timber, Canvas, Cardboard and Fabric.

Cold Ghost Artworks draw heavily from Street Art, Suburban and Pop Culture, the Artwork is primarily influenced by graffiti. The works are created using Spray Paint and acrylics, which is can then be finished with paint pens, pencils oil sticks, stencils, in fact anything that can make a mark & most of the works have a layered, textured 3D effect with Lumps, Drips, Rips & Scratches becoming part of the finished Art.

ColdGhostArt has been commissioned to produce art in commercial & public spaces both in Sydney and on The Central Coast and has painted many murals in Restaurants, Bars, Retail Spaces & Galleries.
