Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This artwork looks at the colder times you walk a beach. Rather than the sunny days this is cooler and more introspective. Dark skies and a more brooding atmospheric. Sometimes I find walking along a winter beach meditative and helpful. A good setting to sort things out.

Absurd art that looks at the strange incidents that one encounters from time to time This artwork brings everyday, non – artwork objects together where they acquire strong, symbolic meanings within the context of the whole work. I like the way the pieces contribute to the composition yet still retain their original identity. I feel that in some ways this sculptural technique of organizing into a unified whole a group of unrelated and often fragmentary or discarded objects is a powerful metaphor of how people from various cultures and walks of life can be bought together and live harmoniously as a whole.
