Artwork Description

Reproduction Print on paper

Signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.

I’m attracted to the horizontal horizon line. I like the feeling of rest and repose and the sense of balance and harmony it gives. It’s meditative. Thoughtful. And with waves you have the tumbling curves, some turbulent, others shallow and safe. A pleasing, sensual quality. I’ve emphasized the horizontal feature in the dimensions of the artwork and have used black and white to accentuate the beautiful form and shape of the waves and ocean. This is a big print and will look special on a feature wall. If you would like this print either larger or smaller to fit a specific space let me know and I’ll alter the dimensions for you. This may alter the selling price a little which I can calculate for you.

Absurd art that looks at the strange incidents that one encounters from time to time This artwork brings everyday, non – artwork objects together where they acquire strong, symbolic meanings within the context of the whole work. I like the way the pieces contribute to the composition yet still retain their original identity. This artwork brings everyday, non – artwork objects together where they acquire strong, symbolic meanings within the context of the whole work. I feel that in some ways this sculptural technique of organizing into a unified whole a group of unrelated and often fragmentary or discarded objects is a powerful metaphor of how people from various cultures and walks of life can be bought together and live harmoniously as a whole.
