Artwork Description

Colors of the Winter Sky was inspired by the dynamic interplay of light and color during the transformative season of the winter solstice. This abstract painting reflects the essence of renewal as the days begin to lengthen, with layered hues and flowing forms that evoke the beauty of shifting light and the promise of brighter days ahead.

Six separate 5"x5" paintings for the price of one! Add a pop of art anywhere with these fun-size paintings! Instantly brighten up your desk, nightstand, or any cozy space. Or hang them all together, and be creative with your own gallery wall.

These bright 5"x5" paintings feature bright, bold colors to celebrate the blossoming possibilities of the ever-changing future.

Each cute little 5"x5" miniature canvas has a full-width professional grade wooden stretcher and painted edges, yet fits anywhere easily. An irresistible dash of art! Looks great alone or with all six hung together.

These original paintings are created using only the highest quality professional grade paint to produce an archival work of art. They are ready to hang or display on a mini easel.

Artist Bio

Cynthia Ligeros draws her inspiration from the dynamic and constantly-evolving urban landscapes that surround us, as well as the pristine beauty of the natural world. Each of her paintings is born from a singular, driving emotion that informs every brushstroke and composition.

She begins her creative process with an under-painting that allows organic forms to develop on the canvas. Through an artistic dialogue with the piece, she composes and unifies these forms until a finished abstract painting emerges that reflects the cycles, emotions, and equilibrium of our ever-changing environment.

This layering technique is emblematic of the broader themes in her work: the tension between the hard edges of our structured world and the organic contours of the natural world. Cynthia's art is a metaphorical exploration of the idea of the subconscious self unifying with the higher self to achieve wholeness.

Her artwork has been acquired by the University of Colorado Boulder, St. Regis Hotels, The Longmont Justice Center, and collectors across the United States and Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Her work has been showcased in prestigious locations such as the Denver International Airport, the Madden Museum, and Denver Botanic Gardens, as well as in galleries spanning from San Francisco to New York City.
