As a child, I would lie in my backyard imagining God’s presence in the sky. I would talk to Him and ask questions, feeling both comforted and curious. That same sense of awe still moves me whenever I gaze upon a great expanse of sky. Someone once said, “If I could say it, I wouldn’t have to paint it.” This resonates deeply with me. I often find it difficult to put into words the connection between my art and my faith, yet through painting, I can express what words cannot. I find God in nature, and through my art, I seek to share the gratitude and wonder I feel in those moments of connection.
