This yellow flowering gum captures me every time. This flower is unmistakably Australian, decorating our majestic gums trees once a year when flower. I often find my influence while hiking or walking in my local parklands. This yellow flowering gum captures my attention every time and i often stop to take photos so i can later come home to paint them.

Like a lot of artist, I am inspired by the living world around me. A lot of my art pieces are created from favourite holiday destinations on hikes or outdoor adventure. I’m a bit of a plant nerd and have always been drawn to the colours and shapes that nature gives us. I am a woman of faith, a wife, a mother a small business owner and these art works come from a place of joy, hope and happiness.
