Artwork Description

Suspended in a field of luminous turquoise blue, Carried by Light presents a sea turtle viewed from above, gliding effortlessly through clear, sunlit water. The shell is rendered with meticulous detail, its warm amber and umber tones radiating outward like embers beneath the surface, creating a striking contrast with the cool, rippling blues that surround it.
The painting captures a moment of quiet power and balance, where movement feels both purposeful and serene. Light refracts across the water, forming soft, rhythmic patterns that suggest depth, clarity, and the passage of time. The turtle becomes both subject and symbol, resilience, navigation, and an ancient calm carried forward through ever-changing currents.
This work invites the viewer into a meditative space, evoking connection to the ocean and a sense of steady forward motion. Ideal for collectors drawn to marine life, contemporary realism, and works that blend technical precision with emotional stillness.
