In this abstract expressionist painting, I wanted to immerse the viewer in colour, motion, and vivid splashes, drips, and tangled lines. It is inspired by the sensory overload of nature and summer life. While it is shaped by a personal sense of time, moment, and place, I hope the painting invites each viewer to perceive and interpret it freely—to find their own patterns, moods, and meanings within its layers.
This artwork will never become a print and will remain a 'one of a kind' piece.
The surface of this painting is heavily textured, built up of multiple layers, with lumps and drips. The sides of the canvas are also painted, and the painting is sealed beneath a glossy varnish.

BIO: My ideas and how I apply them to the canvases are seldom subtle and my intention is for the artworks to be striking and distinctive. I like to explore emotion and expression through colour and shape. I often use bold blocks of colour and outlines to anchor my designs that (I hope) are sometimes spiritual, fantastical, political, and in the tradition of modern and humanist art. As I develop my paintings, I focus on an idea, an effect, and a mood. I enjoy painting in different styles and my works range from abstract to abstract figurative, abstract expressionism to pop art, in addition to impressionist works.
