Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Alaska. I expected snowy, freezing cold days in early October but instead it was mild and dry. That meant plenty of sightseeing for us Aussies and we weren't disappointed. A road trip to Denali National Park is a must if you wish to view the tallest peak in the States. The road to the peak was closed at 32 mile point which is standard in October but there are plenty of road stops and vista points to admire. This is purely a magical place of mammoth proportions. The tundras go for miles and the snow capped peaks are something not seen here in Australia. Although it was cloudy around the mountain, I changed the grey sky to a baby blue so I could compliment the colours seen in the snow and the tundras. So glad to have visited Alaska and capture Fall at it's beautiful best. I hope you like it too.
