Deborah Lang aka Debstar, works from her home based Brisbane Studio.
She is a mixed media artist known for her bright colours and works on book pages.
Her subjects pop out from the canvas which are oozing with texture, her paintings are varied as she takes inspiration from the world around her.
She likes to paint birds, animals, penguin book covers, nudes, popart, streetscapes, beachscapes, flowers… Lately there’s a bit of a bird theme developing :)
Exploring textures and playing with different mediums and subjects is how she keeps her zest for creativity! She always has so many ideas it’s exciting for her to see them come alive on the canvas.  
Deborah’s artworks are displayed in commercial and residential premises throughout Australia and around the world.
At the end of the day she just wants people to smile when they look at her work.
