This is one of the most recognisable photos in sporting history! The controversial fight of Muhammad Ali vs. Sonny Liston.

It’s a very powerful image, and I wanted to recreate it my style with heaps of texture and pops of colour, I added one of Ali’s most famous quotes, a bee and the old school stars circling Sonny Liston’s head.

It has been created using a mix of stencils and free hand painting, layered on to a textured base.

It has been finished with satin varnish, signed on the front ‘Debstar’ my street name :) and is ready to hang.
