The Last Glow by Lumière

The Last Glow is an abstract mixed media work created on a natural wood panel. The piece begins with pyrography, where deliberate burn marks carve into the wood grain, forming a textured foundation that evokes quiet movement and organic flow.

Layers of spray and acrylic paint and ink introduce bold colour dynamics and expressive gestures, while metallic paint and gold leaf adds subtle luminosity that shifts under changing light. The result is a richly layered composition that merges the warmth of natural materials with the energy of modern abstraction.The wood grain of the panel is subtly visible through the translucent layers, contributing to the organic feel.
